“Liquid Lights” by Dank in Croydon, London

In different parts of London we can enjoy gritty urban images by Dan Kitchener aka Dank. His work freezes scenes from everyday life with a special attention to the environment and the city surroundings. He is fascinated by the beauty in the most mundane spots that he reflects it with a dynamic and colourful recognisable style. His quirk is the relationship with the light: the effect which produces into the image about the movement and the three-dimensionality of the representation. In Croydon he realises a huge mural showing three neon scenes about rainy streets and bustling traffic car avenues in which he can play with the shades and lights. Also this way to approach the urban time images creates a different perception of the atmosphere producing a shiny and gloomy mood.
