Taking inspiration from political and social issues of her country, South Africa, Faith47 creates street art to participate to the social activism. Central in her message is the woman’s condition, due to her personal experience that brought her to raise the daughter alone at the age of 18. Consequently her art is dominated by the woman figure mostly represented like goddess expressing purity, beauty and spirituality. Her artworks are completed by a strong symbolism and metaphors that communicate raw intimacy. In Malmo Faith47 paints in a horizontal surface a woman who holds a candle on her palm and appears in meditation state. The image is full of symbols, as the chain wrapped on her left hand that is an ancient Egyptian Ankh and the gold overlapping circles that form a shadow behind her and give sacredness and strength to the atmosphere.
