Urban art very often is a media to change the identity of an area and this case is a great example. Cerro Polanco in Valparaiso, Chile, is considered the “ghetto” of the city. The initiative “Polanco Graffestival” made a requalification of the zone bringing artists from around the world and transforming the city into the newest travel destination. One of the mural of this area is realized by Mexican artist Dhear who creates surreal landscapes surrounded by ecological elements as plants and bacteria and populated by anthropological figures. In this artwork the characters seem to go away from this futuristic and prehistoric world abandoning everything. He takes inspiration from the book Siddhartha in which symbolizes the importance of the path into the research of the wisdom.
