For the third edition of BAU (Bienal de Arte Urbano) Estefanía Leighton realized a big mural with her characteristic style made by fluid and soft lines. She plays with intense colours creating different hues trying inspiration from the graphic design. This artwork is also part of a series of paintings that Stfi has realized around South America during her personal project “Ruta de Murales” (Murals Route). Travelling around different countries Estefanía tries to focalise and show the peculiarities of every single land. In this work she visualizes the prosperous nature typical of Bolivia in a beautiful sunny day. The diversity of the plants common in this area is well represented as also the brightness of the Bolivian colours. There is a gorgeous girl with indigenous features on the side of the building from which grows plants and flowers symbolizing the strong connection between human beings and nature in the native culture.
