Michał Wręga (SEPE) is a Polish artist, born in Warsaw.
He lives and works in Warsaw as a freelance graphic designer, painter and illustrator.
On the occasion of the Street Art Doping Festival 2016 Sepe realizes “Education System”, a fascinating mural in which the attention is focused on a puppet theater, and where a packed crowd, lobotomized and devout, following the show. Sepe reflected on the crisis of values that grips contemporary society and does it with this theatrical metaphor; nowadays the education channels breed herds of haters. The media, institutions and politicians, that often can be the leaders of our training and spokesmen of our culture, are threatening the genuine forms of interaction between human beings. We are witnessing the disappearance of the dialogue, tolerance, democracy. Sepe uses simple colors but the predominance of red emphasizes the dramatic nature of the issue. The play of light is used wisely taking advantage of the slope of this building.
