SANBA Project by Hitnes in San Basilio, Rome

Hitnes is a street artist from Rome who works with large-scale of murals creating huge animals and natural elements leaving out the human beings on purpose. His art comes from a personal research in the forest where he captures his subjects with the camera and sketchbook. His walls, realised with a graphic illustration style, open a window on a colourful and joyful nature. In a suburb of Rome, San Basilio, Hitnes joins a project to requalify the area creating six-walls display focused on a specific bird. The murals feature parrots, gulls, a blackbird, a duck, as well as a peacock and a heron in order to study the biology of the birds. In this specific work Hitnes collaborates with the neighbours getting to a special blend between the urban background and the artistic creatures of his natural world.
