“The Golfer” by Martin Whatson in Aberdeen, Scotland

Martin Whatson is a Norwegian artist, well known in the world of the street art as a stencil artist. His style draws from the writing of graffiti, always present in colorful pieces in contrast to a black and white representation or gray tones. The color is applied to the neuralgic points of the composition, almost to suggest metaphorically a light at the bottom of the tunnel. A glimpse of hope, behind the daily misery. It raises dust, opens curtains, fills the voids with the color and lively the image comes to life.
In Aberdeen, the artist is inspired by golf: a sport of precision, although some have been considered it as a sport of Dutch origin, the country where it enjoyed the first great popularity and great tradition was Scotland (where it is considered national sport).
